Blog Post No.1

Actually I was born in year 1996 which meet the end of Mahathir era and followed by Badawi and Najib era. I 'm a Mahathir baby where actually I don't have much impression on Tun Mahathir. Since kinder garden, I have been taught by kinder garden teacher the picture that hung on the wall was the current Prime Minister.
The very first impression that I had towards Tun. Mahathir was actually where I have started to learn history, civic and moral in the primary school. That time I'm still studying in SJKC. Our first lesson for these three subjects was learn to recognize our previous and current prime minister. Tun Mahathir was the forth Prime Minister whose also referred as Father of Modernisation (Bapa Pemodernan). KLCC that popular all around the world was proposed by Tun Mahathir. I believed that all citizens could still recognize him.

I don't know whether I myself have affected by Mahathir in shaping own thinking and attitudes or not, but actually he shaped how I felt towards bahasa or language. This is because he introduces that English actually is an important language just followed by bahasa and own mother tongue. He stressed us to improve our English. I think this is the one I still practice until now.

On the other hand, I have less impression towards Abdullah Badawi, the fifth of Prime Minister whose referred as Father of Human Capital Development compared to Najib Razak. Najib Razak, the sixth Prime Minister who just currently ended his appointment of Prime Minister actually shaped my thinking and attitudes. He totally changing the way I think of the Malaysian citizens and Malaysia politics. I never care about our country but I changed my mind when Najib Razak appointed as our Prime Minister last time. He makes me changing the impression towards Malaysians. I will follow our nation's politics and economy. From the news I have followed, I knew a lot of politicians and minister. I knew barely about our condition before. My attitudes towards our nation changed from doesn't matter to I care about our nation. "I need to fight for our country!" I have think of this.

I think what I have did before was the colour run that organized by DAP, which was Parti Tindakan Demokratik. If not mistaken, this events was held in my hometown, Teluk Intan where the focus point of this recently election. The purpose of this colour run event actually was fundraising to support the party. I was involved and I paid. How much I don't really remember but I remembered was just a little. I was invited by my friends. They were aggressive to join this kind of events. Actually I was quite lazy person who not really like to participate any events but it sounds fun when they invite. It worth what I have expected from the events. It was really fun even though I didn't get any prizes. [laugh]

I was a little bit regret that I didn't participate for Bersih events last time. However, I saw how unity was our citizens. The most deep impression that I felt touch was when a team of Malays protects other races. Such a touch moment I can remember all the time especially the "yellow colour wave". It will be the memory that I will tell my next next generation.

This was the picture I took when 2015 the events ended.
